It is the “heart” of the company, the place where custom-built machining for customers is created, where all requests for finished metal products – in aluminum, stainless steel and iron – for any type of chassis, case, box or housing are met. The Metalwork Department is the area of Grafos Steel where innovation and efficiency meet with the goal of making stainless steel industrial keyboards, control panels and chassis for their housing, as well as highly customized small precision metalwork elements that are unique in the market.
The Metalwork Department is really one of the main spaces where the excellence offered by our company becomes a reality. This happens first thanks to the richness and advanced nature of the machine pool: evolved systems for 2D laser cutting, punching machines, bending machines, grinders, presses, automatic bending machines, pantograph and Cnc milling machines, “combi” laser cutting and punching machines, laser and automatic welding machines, grinding and sandblasting robots, marking and die-cutting machines operate here.
All of our partners’ requests, therefore, can be met thanks in part to the support provided by Grafos Steel’s Technical Department, which can contribute to every production requirement, working alongside customers as far back as the design phase and supporting them through to final production.
In the Metalwork Department, in addition to focusing on quality, a key focus is on fast processes: speed of production is a must, which is why production processes for delivery do not exceed 5-7 weeks for laser work in aluminum, stainless steel and iron. And special procedures can be activated for urgent prototyping and sampling.
